Tom Collins Prize in Australian Literature- for the best essay on Australian literature or arts

Arthur Lovekin Prize in Journalism- for the best contribution to a newspaper

Katherine Moss Prizes in English Literature- for the best dissertations on English literature

Patrick O'Brien Political Science Internship Award- for political science graduates (open to final year students)

Office of Native Title Prize- for achievement in a native title-related matter

Fred. WM Simpson Prize for English Verse- for the best poem

The Grace Vaughan Award- social work travel award

Wesley Mission Perth Music Scholarship- for music performance (instrumental)

Woodside Valley Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship in Chinese Studies

There are also numerous prizes for the best performing student in an individual unit; these do not require an application. Winners of these prizes will be awarded automatically by the Faculty and the prizes presented at the annual Prizegiving Ceremony in May of each year.
